Baumberger Studio is an independent visualization studio located in Portland, Oregon. Its founder, Scott Baumberger, has been creating digital renderings for 20+ years for the design and development industries. His clients include many of the largest and more recognized firms in the industry and he is proud to have worked with them to visualize an array of diverse projects all over the world.

Before starting Baumberger Studio full-time in 2001, Scott worked for 10 years as a designer in a number of architectural firms, including Kohn Pederson Fox in New York and Callison in Seattle, before being drawn to the visualization side of projects. Scott’s design background and Architectural Engineering degree add a perspective to his work that is both valuable and unique.  He works in close collaboration with clients, making recommendations based on a solid understanding of the architectural process and how renderings fit into the life cycle of a project.

Scott has kept his studio small intentionally. By working personally on every project, he can provide exceptional service and foster strong relationships with clients.  The majority of Scott’s work is with repeat clients, a testimony to the level of trust and confidence that he has built with clients over the years.

Scott’s illustrations have been featured in numerous publications including Architectural Record, Urban Land, Building Design & Construction, Best of 3D Graphics, Architecture in Perspective catalogues 15-25, as well as monographs for KPF, FXFowle, and Callison. He is an active member of the illustration community, serving as judge for visualization competitions and presenting at visualization conferences.

Scott’s studio is based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. When Scott’s not working, you’ll most likely find him on the hiking trail, or out climbing a mountain!
